The talented dual-threat quarterback will appear at Panthers games and “collaborate with the team to develop his own exclusive concession item,” according to the same report.

Welcome to the new era of college sports. D’Eriq King has been one of the most visible faces in the sport since NIL started, and he’s clearly not going away any time soon.

The Panthers might be the least popular major sports team in Florida, but they’re still an NHL franchise. The fact they’ve reached a deal with King is huge.

It just goes to show how much money is being thrown around in the era of NIL, and I love it. College athletes were stopped from making money for far too long.

Now, the stars are cashing in and I love it.
