Florida Gulf Coast’s baseball team pulled a farcical stunt on social media Wednesday night when, after falling to the Florida State Seminoles by a score of 19-3, they reported the score with the smallest possible font.
The social media team posted the teeniest tiniest numbers possible on the score graphic in a post captioned “We’re on to Fairfield this Friday. #WingsUp.”

I don’t know if this is a sore loser move or a hilariously self aware social media stunt, but either way, it’s funny.
The game itself was pretty crazy. FGCU opened the game with back-to-back lead off home runs. But after starting off down 2-0, Florida State ripped off 15 straight runs to gain an insane 15-2 lead. (RELATED: Legendary Baseball Slugger Trends Online For Unbelievably Absurd Reason)
If you get thumped this thoroughly, you probably should just be quiet. No need to remind people of how bad your team is.
BUT, with that being said, this is still pretty funny.
Florida State’s drubbing moves them to 11-0 on the season.

Florida Gulf Coast falls to 4-8. Like the social media post said, they’re on to Fairfield.
