Country singer Zach Bryan and his girlfriend Brianna LaPaglia, known as Brianna Chickenfry, were in a serious car accident on May 13.

LaPaglia said they were lucky to be alive after the crash. She posted a video to her TikTok account on May 15, detailing the incident, and the injuries Bryan suffered while on the road for his “Quittin’ Time,” tour. “Two nights ago, Zach and I got into a traumatizing side-by-side crash,” she said in the video. “It flipped a bunch of times, everything shattered and thank God we had our seat belts on – but there was a lot of blood, and we thought we were saying goodbye to each other.”

Bryan’s girlfriend was visibly shaken, and the video showed bruises on her arm as she raised her hand to dab tears away from her eyes.

She continued describing her scary experience.

“After the ambulance came, he got all stitched up we were like, ‘Oh my god, thank God.’ It didn’t hit an artery, it was just a huge gash,” LaPaglia said in her TikTok video.

She went on to assure the country star’s fans that they were both fine, in spite of the severity of the collision.

“We were okay. We are happy and alive,” she said.

The country star’s girlfriend said they had no time to process what just happened to them as they had to head to Little Rock, Arkansas, to keep up with his commitments with his live performances. LaPaglia said one of their cats escaped when they returned to their bus, and things took another turn for them.

“Zach tries to jump on her [and] all of his stitches burst again,” LaPaglia explained.

“He is bleeding everywhere. So much blood,” she said.
